Meg Cabot serves up decent chick lit!
There's something to be said for a good old fashion light reading & Meg Cabot has really accomplished that plus a whole lot more with this book. It was a refreshing change to read what I think every girl wants every once in a while...semi Happily ever afters but with a twist. Cabot's characters a flawed but humorous. I did something on another book site that I NEVER do and that was read this books reviews. Most of the reviews weren't that great and I almost didn't read it because of the reviews BUT I am so glad I went ahead and read it because I loved the book and it's quirky character Lizzie. It's an interesting read. Not like other Meg Cabot's heroines, Lizzie knows what she wants and she works hard to get it. But, she also is like other Meg's heroines, very naive about the man in her life. But, learned a lot about wedding gowns in the book. I read this book while I was flying back from San Francisco to Taiwan....Continua
