It is clear to the western reader that the stories are also infused with western myth and sensibilities. The intermingling of the two and the superb style of writing is pure genius. Love love love this collection of short stories!

  Lost in translation

  I read this book and really liked it, even though I don't understand most of what is going on in the stories... I just like the way the guy writes. Plus the stories keep me interested to find out what the heck is going on. I recomend it, plus the ending of Yam Gruel had me confused for about a year. ... (continue)
