  I can't believe it has taken me weeks to finish this. Sophie Kinsella's books are usually funny, easy to read and page-turner like. There is only one explanation: it's a cliche and she has been there and done that too many times.

  The story starts with a good premise - Lexi, a cheerful and mediocre office lady, was injured in a car accident and when she woke up three years later, she found that she had led a completely different, dreamlike, powerful and successful life in the past three years, a life of which she had no recollection.

  At first, I thought there had been a conspiracy or something that put Lexi in that situation, i.e. somebody had impersonated her while she was in a coma. It turned out that it was much simpler and hence, less exciting or interesting.

  I think the main reason why this novel is not enjoyable is the one-dimensional character of the protagonist. Lexi is just another Rebecca Bloomwood in Kinsella's Shopaholic series. I just wonder why she bothered to create another book when she could just write a Shopaholic novel with this plot.

  There are some hilarious moments in the book, though.

  I am disappointed with Kinsella rehashing her stories time and again. This should be my last Kinsella's novel.

  Tuffiamoci in un mondo pieno di borse, scarpe e abiti firmati...

  Ogni tanto anche la mente ha bisogno di riposo...e allora nessuno meglio della Kinsella puo' farti sognare in un mondo pieno di borse, scarpe e guardaroba straripanti! Finche' non ti chiederai se tutto questo ti appartiene veramente...

  ¡Me encanta esta autora! No cuenta historias muy profundas y que hagan reflexionar precisamente, pero enganchan y son fáciles de leer. Me parece una buena forma de practicar inglés.

  Ma quanto mi è piaciuto questo libro??? tantissimo! Libro leggero e scorrevole.. la trama è molto carina.. parla di questa ragazza che si risveglia nel 2007 ma pensando di essere dinuovo nel 2004... l'ultima cosa che si ricorda è di essere caduta mentre aspettava un taxi...
  Si sveglia e scopre che ha una vita super perfetta.. un marito bellissimo, una casa da incanto e tanti, tanti soldi! Nonostante lei all'inizio fosse scettica alla fine "accetta" la sua nuova vita.. ma forse non è quella vita da sogno che lei credeva... il marito è troppo perfettino.. le sue amiche non sono più cosi tanto amiche... e durante la storia lei cercherà di capire il perchè lei fosse diventata cosi.. "assetata di successo e soldi"... alla fine lo scoprirà... e per lei sarà una verità scioccante!

  喜歡看Sophie Kinsella的作品除了是因為輕鬆易讀﹐沒有故作高深外﹐還因為她筆下的女主角都帶一點傻氣。不少愛情小說裡的女主角不是清麗超脫的美人﹐就是洞悉世情的淑女﹐但其實大衆的我們都很平凡﹐而渴求的﹐也只是生命裡微小的幸福
