    A quick reference to ckney rhyming slang

    This is hardly a book, only a few tiny pages, with a few dozens phrases/terms, both english cockney and cockney-english, and several vignettes.
    It's short and essential indeed, but I have found it very useful watching TV comedies such as Steptoe and son, Red dwarf, Blackadder and so on.

    This is hardly a book, only a few tiny pages, with a few dozens phrases/terms, both english cockney and cockney-english, and several vignettes.
    It's short and essential indeed, but I have found it very useful watching TV comedies such as Steptoe and son, Red dwarf, Blackadder and so on.
    If you're looking for something comprehensive about cockney slang this is not the case, but it gives you the basics and this is what's there to it.
    So, at the end of the day, I reckon it's quite worth a butcher's for a few quid.
