    My thoughts

    I enjoyed this thriller set off the coast of Maine. It had pirate lore, secret codes, booby traps - and a sense of impending doom as both the weather and the dangers of the pit's contents become more dangerous by the day.

    Quando l'ho letto (il secondo della coppia su cui ho mai messo le mani) non mi ricordavo degli autori e ne sono rimasta - per la seconda volta, ma senza virus in mezzo - piacevolmente sorpresa.
    Da allora è iniziata la caccia a tutti i romanzi di Preston e Child e, rispetto ad altri, "Riptide ...continue

    Quando l'ho letto (il secondo della coppia su cui ho mai messo le mani) non mi ricordavo degli autori e ne sono rimasta - per la seconda volta, ma senza virus in mezzo - piacevolmente sorpresa.
    Da allora è iniziata la caccia a tutti i romanzi di Preston e Child e, rispetto ad altri, "Riptide" (o "Marea" in italiano) non è tra i migliori.
    Ma la storia, basata su quella che sembra essere una leggenda metropolitana che dura da secoli, è comunque avvincente... anche se prevedibile sul finale.
