  Tutti dovremmo scriverlo

  Incredibile come un intreccio di piani narrativi, presente, passato, trapassato, dopo un pò risulti limpido e scorrevole. Un libro che fa riflettere sulla proprie piccole vigliaccherie. E poi è divertente!!!

  La più grande fortuna appartiene a tutte quelle persone che non l'hanno letto, le invidio quasi. che culo che hanno!(scusate lui può essere scurrile e io no?). Barney, con i suoi Montecristo e la sua bottiglia di Macallan, è uno dei personaggi più viziosi e viziati che abbia mai incontrato. Si ritrova a scrivere una sorta di testamento al crepuscolo della sua vita, una vita fantastica: piena di viaggi, di forti emozioni (tre matrimoni alle spalle), piena di bottiglie di Dom Perignon scolate e sigari fumati e scrittori da quattro soldi e omicidi o presunti tali e professoresse zozze. Eppure, nonostante tutto, a lui rimane solo una memoria balorda e un pacco infinito di rimpiati. Chiunque gli direbbe, con tono accigliato: "Barney ma come ti viene in mente di rimpiangere il passato! Hai fatto una vita bellissima, goditi la vecchiaia!". Io no, io se avessi avuto la possibilità gli avrei ricordato di quanto Miriam era stata così perfetta per lui. Perchè no, non si possono lasciare dopo tutto quello che hanno passato. Ho i rimorsi per te Barney...
