  It's a book for those who are addicted to books. I dont think that anyone that doesnt love book will like it or get it. Being a book rat myself I liked it, some parts i might say loved it, others i confess i could do without. I think the intent of the book is simply ingenious, but it can get a little tiring after you get it. Nevertheless, through out the entire book you can find remarkable passages and uncanny humor.
  It's a book about books written for those who simply can do without them.

  My favourite Calvino. i simply love it, and want to read it again and again since 1999. One of the books I took with me when I moved to the UK.
