If you like Firefly, you'll live this. Though I'm not big on graphic novels, this one is easier to follow than most. It explains some of the things I didn't get in the movie (Serentiy). Sometimes during the movie I was thinking, "huh, how did we get from the show to there, something had to have happened in between." Well, this fills in some of those in-betweens. It's a nice short read with good animation.

For a graphic novel, this is too short. It leaves you wanting more. The plot is not as good as most of the series, but is better than "The Train Job". For a graphic novel, this is too short. It leaves you wanting more. The plot is not as good as most of the series, but is better than "The Train Job". If you haven't seen either the movie or the TV series, this is just going to confuse you as it gives very little backstory, but does give the context for a running joke in the movie. Not the best of Whedon's work, but it's not the worst.

  • This one explains how we got from the end of the series to the start of the movie, including how The Operative got the job of hunting down the Tams.
Occasionally very sweet, funny as usual, action-packed... a great addiction to a Brownshirt's collection.

  • These characters are fantastic. This story is fairly useless. Perhaps if I weren't comparing them to such a perfect TV show and movie, I could be more forgiving.

  • This was a nice story in addition to the TV series and movie. I felt it was just another episode to the show. I loved the artwork as well. My hope is that they do not stop there and continue to create more stories. Very well done.
