Though the Hough Transform is very popular in computer vision, there seems to be pitifully few books dedicated to it. In fact, this is the only book I found related to it.
The book has detailed coverage of the line, circle and ellipse HT detection techniques. Though dated, the book is crammed with figures that help in visualizing what happens when an image is transported into the Hough Transform space. Other notable feature is that the author has included descriptions of the preprocessing (edge detection, noise removal etc.) and post processing (maxima detection, butterfly filter etc.) required by the method. This is important information that is missed in most papers/books related to HT....Continua
