I may have guessed the ending, but that didn't make the book any less riveting. The whole psychological factor made me really think about what and how an insane person thinks. I also thought the "An insane person denies he's insane. Bob denies he is insane. Ergo Bob is insane" premise was really interesting, and I loved how it worked the other way too - in Teddy's mind, criminals deny they're doing anything wrong. The doctors denied they were doing anything wrong. Ergo, the doctors were the bad guys. I can't wait to watch the movie - I hope it is as good a translation of Lehane's work as Mystic River and Gone, Baby, Gone were. I really can't wait to see Leo play this really intriguing character.
