[This] is a shimmering, iridescent tale of spiritual quest. It is Nobel Prize-winner Hermann Hesse’s most famous and influent work. In the novel, Siddhartha, a young man, leaves his family for a contemplative life, then, restless, discards it for one of the flesh. He conceives a son, but bored and sickened by lust and greed, moves on again. Near despair, Siddhartha comes to a river where he hears a unique sound. This sound signals the true beginning of his life – the beginning of suffering, rejection, peace and, finally, wisdom.

Now English for improving my language skills =) By the way, this book is about the Son of Bramin, Siddhartha, that complete a trip in his life for discovering himself. After that he found the peace in his soul. I love it, expecially the first part when "he can think, he can wait and he can fast" .
