I really liked the other books of Cory Doctorow's that I've read, but I just couldn't get into this one. The book is written from the perspective of Alan, who is also referred to as Andy, Adam, or anything starting with an A. His father is a mountain, his mother is a washing machine, and included in his brothers are an island and a set of Russian nesting dolls. I just don't get it.
