This was a fun and easy read. Something like Jane Austen mixed with Howl's Moving Castle (or just magic thrown in). This was a fun and easy read. Something like Jane Austen mixed with Howl's Moving Castle (or just magic thrown in). It was a bit predictable sometimes, but I liked it nonetheless (enough to look for the sequel The Grand Tour). Interesting to see that this story started as a "letter game". The authors wrote letters to each other (as one of the characters) and didn't discuss the plot or anything..

Written as letters between the two girls. It is a light read, but a very entertaining one.

I am glad I finally finished this one. While at first I didn't like the format it did eventually grow on me and by the end I began wanting more and maybe even will read the sequel.I was impressed to learn at the end of the book the way the authors wrote the book. I am glad I finally finished this one. While at first I didn't like the format it did eventually grow on me and by the end I began wanting more and maybe even will read the sequel.I was impressed to learn at the end of the book the way the authors wrote the book. They wrote letters in character and eventually revised it to fit together better, but kind of let the letters lead the book. Very interesting.
