1) I should have read Fearful Symmetry first, it seems, and 2) A bit more telling than showing in places. And it never says anywhere in the book, "Thous shalt read Fearful Symmetry before reading this book!" so I didn't know I had to read Fearful Symmetry. But apparently, if I had, I'd know who was dead and what happened to Kira and Ro, or how the crew of DS9 learned that Taran'atar was under Iliana Ghemor's control.... This book ends the Mirror Universe storyline.
The story is not too bad, but the book is too short and should have been published much closer to Warpath to truly enjoy it.
I recommend reading the both back-to-back or you will miss some things.
