    "Stardust" è una piccola perla preziosa. Sotto l'aspetto di un romanzo fantasy per ragazzini, nasconde una grande inventiva, un'abilità narrativa ormai celebre e consolidata nel tempo, un'immaginazione variopinta ed anche un'ottima caratterizzazione dei personaggi. Pur nei stretti limiti del genere fantastico, Gaiman si muove con assoluta libertà e tranquillità, inchiodando l'amore adolescenziale al centro della storia.
    Un intreccio non troppo complesso, una storia leggera, raffinata, dolce e divertente, con un finale straordinariamente dolceamaro, decisamente insolito per il genere fantastico.
    Peccato per il film: bellissimo e fedele per due terzi della trama, ne cambia il finale.
