it is always good to read a book by someone who used an airplane, and who better than lemay to talk about the b29?
trouble is, as much as it is interesting, there isn't really much. everything is sketched out, but there's nothing really deep. for instance, i've always wanted to know more about the gun control of the b29, and so far i haven't been able to find anything about it. so as much as i enjoyed the book, i still find it lacking some important details about one of the most revolutionary airplane of wwii.
very interesting are the tactics used to take full advantage of the b29 features.
