It's really entertaining in the best sense of the word; its many characters are all interesting, the situations are cute, Dublin is a cute little backdrop, there are enough eligible men to keep the suspence going (will the frumpy protagonist end up with Mr Rich But Temperamental or with Mr Average But Great Husband Material?).
What I found weird is that I subsequently bought most Marian Keyes books, and all the others are bad. Bad plots, bad style, bad ideas, just bad.
Just how many editors did she have for Sushi for Beginners??????? And how did she plummet so fast already with the following book?
