Absoluty genial. The 2º volume is as good or more as the first. In the first we can enjoy a story of search, in the style of classic like "Trip to de West" or "Odyssey". The second volume dazzles us with a story like the best epic-mithological relates like "The ring of nibelunge" but whit an actual vision. Also in this tale appears part of this mithology.
This is the first part of the book, the it talks about the reference of fantasy books. In words of the own autor his references are Narnia and "Lords Of Rings".
Also the book have short tales with historical folks.
All of this with mithological-terror-fantasy.
About the edition however It´s not very trackable; It´s a very good edition. His extras are some draws of other artist like Alex Rox or Jeff Smith and some notes of Neil Gaiman.
Totalmente genial. Este segundo tomo no desmerece en nada al primero. Si en el primero nos deleitaba con una historia de busqueda, al más puro estilo de grandes historias como "Viaje al Oeste" o "La odisea" en este nos deslumbra con una historia que te hace sentir como los mejores relatos épicos como "El anillo de los nibelungos" pero por supuesto con una visión actual. Y no solo eso sino que rizando el rizo en la historia aparecen toda esa mitología a la que hace referencia la propia narración.
Esto ocurre en la primera parte del libro. Después hace un guiño genial con una historia soberbia a los libros de fantasía; en las notas el autor dice que es un guiño a Narnia y al "Señor de los anillos".
También trae algunas historias cortas este libro, con personajes históricos como la historia en la que aparece "Marco Polo" que también es muy interesante.
Todo aderezado terror-fantasía-mitología totalmente geniales.
Historia absolutamente recomendable, es más imprescindible.
En cuanto a la edición, como cabe esperar es bastante buena. En este tomo trae como extras, parte del guión (como suele ser habitual en estas ediciones), algunos comentarios de Neil Gaiman y unos cuantos dibujos de otros autores sobre sandman al final del libro como por ejemmplo Alex Rox o Jeft Smith. Lo peor de la edición, no puedes leer en cualquier sitio, pero eso ya lo sabes cuando te la compras.
En definitiva, cómic imprescindible.
