This is a very interesting book. Originally a new yorker, the author has been living in England for more than 10 years and this book is her observation of the nation and the people.
It covers various topics, from politics, aristocracy, to daily life (such as hedgehogs), and is acute and very funny.
Due to the writer's background, half of the book covers the british politics and journalism world which might not be that interesting to wider audiences, but the rest is closer to daily life which is very interesting. I think this is a great book....Continua
