    "Ok, boss."
    "Oh, and one more thing."
    "Yes?"
    "Don't call me."

"Well, young man, have you found anyone worthy of your respect?"
Artemis smiled back. "Yes," he said, "I believe I have."

  • My thoughts

I enjoyed this second book in the Artemis Fowl series. I especially liked how Artemis, Butler, Holly and Commander Root worked together to save the day. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, The Eternity Code.

    The Arctic Incident

This is a great book. Artemis is still as clever as ever and so is the author.

The fact that he finds out his father is still alive in this one is just great. I was able to picture the entire story as I was reading and I enjoyed how it played out in my head.

  • The 2nd book of commercial novel series, however the first one from the series I read.

With touch of Irish folklore. Interesting.

Movie-like scene change. (Literally) With subtitles telling you it's now in "Fowl's Manor", etc.
