  I found this and thought it'd be a lovely Gorey-esque kids book. I have to say it really was NOT a kids book. The ending was like what would have happened at the end of 1984 if he'd not broken! Ick! But it is a very good book for reading when you are feeling particularly misanthropic and full of hate! It's even more perfect and charming when you read it with the sound of Tom Baker's voice in your head reading it to you. Cause hearing the Doctor that funny and full of hate is brilliant. (Why I can't find an audio of him reading this? It makes me sad!) It was funny and unpleasant and I liked it very much.
