This third volume in the history of sexuality is wonderful! Starting circa 400BCE and going to 300CE, Foucault outlines the changing views of sexuality in Greece and Rome. This third volume in the history of sexuality is wonderful! Starting circa 400BCE and going to 300CE, Foucault outlines the changing views of sexuality in Greece and Rome. His writing style is superb: clear, thoughtful, and well paced. He goes into detailed analysis as to why views of sexuality changed and how this came about.
