I remember reading these books as a child on cold days with a fire blazing and a cup of tea by my side. My favorite has to be The Silver Chair. I related so strongly to Jill Pole that it seemed strange sometimes. She would say exactly what I was thinking. I still watch the 1980s BBC verions even though the special effects are dated. These stories must have been thrilling to listen to on BBC radio during WWII.
I read the Chronicles of Narnia when I was ten years old. It was fun to re-read them. I have always loved C.S. Lewis! The movie was phenominal too!
Had this set for years, but didn't actually read it until I was in my 20's...
Just too boring overall when I was younger... But I did like it when I was older.
Don't ask me why I never read these when I was younger, but I wish I had since they're obviously geared toward children. Some of the readers on the audio CDs were better than others, but overall it was a good production.
