Entertaining enough for commute-reading. The portrayal of the main character is a bit simplistic and not very well developed. More importantly, with this author you never know how much she is making up and how much there is in terms of reliable historical facts.

'Katherine of Aragon'- as beekeeper40 has already mentioned, she did tend to go on about her God given rights rather too often. Arrogant in fact!

I personally have a special affinity for Catherine of Aragon and her plight. I disagree with the author's take on the story in some parts, especially the idea that she lied to keep her throne. Overall, I thought the story and subject was handled wonderfully. Very enjoyable book.
