Note to Waterstones: It's a romance, not a crime novel.
I'm not a big reader of romances and I probably wouldn't have bothered if I wasn't a big Falco fan, but I really like this book. The historical period it's set in is fascinating and she brings it to life through the eyes of a very likeable character in Caenis.
