I enjoy reading this book, as it provides me a chance to share a mind of a contemporary philosopher. Yes I regard Mr Soros as a philosopher, as he himself stressed in this book.
For those who is seeking prediction of the financial market may feel disappointed, but for me, I feel greatly satisfied by this book as it solved my doubt in the usefulness of economic theories that I learnt from school. Mr Soros is trying to deliver a new view of the financial world, that everything is reflective. As everything is reflective, people should concern more on the consequences that how people perceive and react, than to simply study any pattern and trying to formulate or putting any pattern in an over-simplified model.
It is always a joy to share the words from great minds.
