Still disappointed by this saga. If this wasn't King, I would have tossed the books away, maybe used them to light a barbecue. I will give the third book a try, in the name of all the credit that King deserves for his other books. But what a bore. Really. What a bore.

After a rather terrible start, King catches up with one of the most beautiful books I've ever read.
"The Drawing of the Three" has everything a good book needs: a journey of discovery, a new world to discover, and the introduction of two fantastic characters, who will accompany the protagonist until the end, united.
The charaterization is the best part: each one, both the Prisoner and the Lady of Shadows, need help, to escape their world, and to redent and become true gunslingers. After all of their problems, Eddie's need for drugs, Detta personality coming to surface, and Roland illness growing worse, the ka-tet will turn out strong and united in the end of the story, ready for their future adventures.
