    This seventeenth century play is about two vile brothers who try to stop their sister's marriage and childbearing by any means possible, in order to get their hands on her fortune. Good old dramatic ending with tons of blood and betrayal.

    This seventeenth century play is about two vile brothers who try to stop their sister's marriage and childbearing by any means possible, in order to get their hands on her fortune. Good old dramatic ending with tons of blood and betrayal.

    Although it took a few pages to 'get into it' due to the archaic language, I was soon immersed in the story and enjoying myself immensely.

    While reading; keep an eye on the references to god and religion. Surely quite rebellious for its time!
