When you see the cover, you don't even find the name of the illustrator and you will just know it's one of Graeme Base's works. When you try to read the sentence and try "very hard" to read the "picture, you will be very confident to say, "It's definitely a Graeme Base's book.
The whole story is a poem. Every two sentences share a rhyme. The story is just about an elephant who invited his friends to celebrate his eleventh birthday. In the story, you will know what they play and eat in the party.
There are many secrets in the picture. There are many mice hiding in the picture for the reader to find out. This time, Graeme Base is very nice to give you all the answers in the end of the book. Also, this book tells the reader eleven games to play.
I've not finished this book because I've not find out all the secret in the picture. I think it will take time.
