I have always loved Terry Brooks but I got a little bored with this one towards the middle. While I like how he has intertwined two series with these books, this seemed a little drawn out.

I believe this book can't be red, as well as reviewed, without takin into account the first chapter of this saga, i.e. Armageddon's children. As already said on my review, it would be highly beneficial having ready at hand the whole three books set and consider them as a whole; if Armageddon's Children was ending abruptly, this Elves of Cintra does the same, even if slightly less harshly.
This said, The Elves of Cintra still bears the author's full imaginative potential, as well as what I'm really most appreciating off this saga, that is a tale of fairie/magic/adventure filled with all the fantasy genre features, but developed in our real world.
Perhaps here and there it gets slighlty too much descriptive but it's nothing important.
As said with Armageddon's Children, HAVE THE THIRD BOOK READY ON YOUR SHELF FOR WHEN YOU'VE DONE WITH THIS ONE!!! ;-D
