  Throwing my fist in the air with most of this stuff - why are sensible people sucked into religion? It's the absolute denial of all that is best about being human - one's reason. Spirituality is fine, but God? what a waste of energy and effort to believe the patently absurd and contradictory and contralogical and contraexperiential stuff of religion. God is an unnecessary complication. Relgious belief in the afterlife is postively dangerous to the survival of the human race - if muslim fundamentalists and terrorists get nuclear weapons, the world will shortly end and they would be happy with that. I wouldn't.
