  Another in the Gabriel Allon, master art restorer/ Israeli spy-assasin series. I'm hooked; I love the characters and the reversal of usual spy roles is intriguing. Besides, I'm learning facts about the Nazi and Palestinian issues that I'd not known previously.

  Very tense novel about spies from the Eastern Block before the end of the Cold War. Unusual in that we follow two men - one, the English Assassin, - the other the Eastern Block spy. We are left wondering from the very start about who is the hero; or, at least, who is the main character in the story. And, of course, who will kill the other. Very cleverly set out. An intriguing story from start to finish. Very, very enjoyable.
