Book Description
The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

Special $3.99 Edition
The first I did not enjoy it much, but the second time around it was much better.
After reading this again ten years and ten books in the series later, I find that the first six hundred pages are just as good as I remembered. That said, I had forgotten how uselessly bombastic the ending is, which is almost enough to spoil the whole thing.
Ah, and it started out so well... All right, so I stopped after the third book. There is just far, far too much going on in this series to keep up with, especially given the length of time between each book.
This series is incredibly addicting. It's sci-fi, 12 books long and still going strong.
