Jason Cameron hires Rose Hawkins to read to him. He is no longer able to do so since his tragic accident. She soon comes to find out that what she is reading him is not your everyday books. She also finds out the secrets he has been hiding-he is an Elemental Master. Fire to be precise.

Told with just a hint of Beauty & the Beast, the story is intriguing and enchanting. Rose is a woman who stands out in her times, for not following the standards of her society, i.e. women are on a pedestal, they don't think or have opinions, etc.
