Emily Carr was one of Canada's greatest and most talented artists. Imagine that, at 42, she went up the coast of British Columbia, to paint the pristine forests and the totems. And she did it again when she was in her 50s. Remember that it was at the turn of the 20th Century. And she was already an older woman. Wow!
