Enjoyable characters, lots of suspenseful action, and good plot twists, however the ending was less than satisfying.
Typical Dean Koontz really. Starts off superbly with great character build up, action scenes that leave you breathless etc etc. About 400 pages in, it seemed as though Koontz just gave up and decided to write any old rubbish as an ending. Ending seemed to be a bit easy, not to mention ridiculous.
A lot like The Taking and The Bad Place, in the sense that it started off with so much promise and ended on a really low note....Continua
