  • I was pleased to discover I liked this book even more than the first. Hopefully they just get better as I work my way through this series. It's nice to have a great series to fall back on whenever you don't know what else to read.

    than the first, but still too much redundancy. I don't need to have the fact that the dark ones are evil, beaten into my brain on every page.

    In the first book it was the constant, Tam is my father. In this book it is I am Rand al Thor. Blood and Ashes I get it, already.

    If you can get past the redunadancy the story is pretty good.

  • I really loved this series, at least as far as I got. Once they're all done I plan to pick them back up again.
