I finished reading book two of the Dancers at the End of time last night and I have to say I loved it even more! Mrs. Underwood seemed much more defined, and much cooler in this one. She seemed to become more of an actual character. But I think that was partly due to seeing her in her own home, and having her leave it. I loved the parts in Bromley, and I thought Mr. Wells was great! I liked the robot nanny with the power of time travel, but the Lat I thought, apart from their playing at the begining were a little annoying. There seemed to be less emptiness in this one, less malaise, perhaps because Jherek's feelings had become real. Though I still loved that in every situation even the most perilous he thought it was incredibly fun. As soon as I finished I started in on the third one. Definitely fun books that are a good distraction.
