very intuitive! never knew even pirates have a lot of organizations and economics involved. especially on the profit-driven incentives that organizes them nicely, given their time period & background.

The Invisible Hook
Highly recommended.
The book is throughly charming, with its detailed account of many of pirating practises during the Golden Age of Piracy, like the Jolly Roger or egalitarian system of booty-division, as well as deep and insightful analysis from an Economic perspective.
