    The strength of this novel lies in the way the story is presented: the beginning of the novel in 2006 is the end of the story, which is told backwards, and the end of the novel in 2002 is the beginning of the story. One will learn the reasons for what happened to Mr. Wilberforce at the beginning of the novel when one finishes the book, and finds it very ironic and yet satisfying.

    A great reading experience.

A few surprises might have maintained my interest but they were sadly lacking. The characters; including Wilberforce himself all became extremely irritating towards the end.
