  It kept me hooked from beginning to end! Gripping and with just the right amount of humor for a mystery/thriller novel.
   It  is so much more more than a police procedural novel, It has depth, heart and some really memorable characters - I loved how Carl and Assad interacted and developed their partnership throughout the story. I can't wait to see how these 2 characters develop in the next books.
  Can't wait for some more Department Q cases to follow!
