Don Maddox is an undercover cop that a case finally brought him back to his hometown he left 15 years ago, which he has some responsibility to fulfill.
Though the story plot isn't too attractive, I like the narrative style from the author. A normal scene can be described as vivid as a camera closeup, and the feelings from the characters are related to things we are familiar to.
It is a little strange that the story makes a sharp turn and refocus on the different target after two thirds of the book. It is like reading two totally different stories. Anyway, the first two thirds are pretty boring in terms of the story plot. It becomes page turner after it....Continua
