I listened to the audio version of this novel shortly after I finished in paperback. I loved learning the pronunciations of some of the words. It was a wonderful audiobook, although it made me uncomfortable at times becasue of the graphicness of the scenes.

This book is absolutely riveting! It is a story of friendship and betrayal and utmost loyalty. The audio book is read by the author. I loved hearing the proper pronunciation of certain Afghan words and names.

fine, i guess it worths the hype

i seldom admit this, but Kite Runner does deserve the recognitions it received!
