Wow, I have read the entire Lord of The Rings Trilogy. That is an accomplishment all in itself for this new year. I have to say that I am not a fan of these books and that while they are okay, they were not my best books ever. I found them long and dragging and very flat. Yes there was suspense and climaxes, but in all, I found it not very hooking. I was waiting for that grab that would keep me interested the whole way through.
Of the 4 books (Hobbit included) The Hobbit is my favorite, but of the LOTR trilogy, "The Two Towers" was most certainly my favorite.
Will I ever re-read this series, chances are likely, but I want to get through the history of Middle Earth first.
