I was fooled first by the title then by the cover portraying a nice, Victorian looking library full of books. I usually do like books about books but I couldn't find a single element of interest in this one, nor any insight of a sort. There's not even a story to talk about. It drones on and on just about ... nothing. I keept reading because I wanted to make the most of my 12 euros or so and because I was waiting for some sort of turn or climax which never arrived. I wasted my time as well as my money and that's that.

  • This is the true story of a man obsessed with collecting rare books. The twist is that he doesn't think it's fair that only the wealthy can afford such a passion, so he simply steals the books he feels he should have. Prison sentences are just a down time to plan future acquisitions.
