After Years, we still don't know the real identity of the Monster.
The book is a detailed summary of the investigation seen with the eyes of an Italian Juornalist and an American Novelist directly involved in it, but the thing that frightened me the most was the Italian judicial system and prosecutors investigation methods.
The book is Preston/Spezi point of view, probably to have a clear picture of the events I have to read the "Chief Inspector Giuttari"s Books as well.
If you, like me. love real-life, mystery, suspense & detective investigations this book is most definitely going to disappoint you!
It left me frustrated!
Every chapter was a struggle & the story kept me wanting to stop reading!!
The only parts I enjoy were the little bits of Florence history, his descriptions of the countryside and the colorful people of Italy.
Great cover too....Continua
January 5th -- I'm a little over half done. It has gotten very repetitive, so I'm trying to read/skim as fast as I can to get to the nitty-gritty of it.
January 14th -- Finished it. It maintained my interest in parts, but in the end I felt I had spent more time on it than it was worth.
