Again, an early Dickens, more anecdotal than his later works will be. The character of Little Nell can be a little too much at times, but one doesn't actively root for her demise (like I did with Oliver Twist...). Again, an early Dickens, more anecdotal than his later works will be. The character of Little Nell can be a little too much at times, but one doesn't actively root for her demise (like I did with Oliver Twist...). The writing is, again, very good with superb characters (the unforgettably sinister Quilp). Definitely worth the read for any Dickens fan.
