The writing is clear, logic, without useless repetitions. The story almost a cliché, nonetheless it catches your attention and it is an easy reading.
Slow at the beginning. Then spinning. Moving. Twirling, disturbing, unraveling the soul as the plot reveals itself through the different eyes of Katherine, Robert, Mattie, Julia, M, the medias, the peasants. I loved this book. It was a difficult read for me because I got so embroiled in it, I found it heart wrenching. Have since read others by her, but so far this my favorite.
