    Boy meets girl, but girl has husband. A complete lack of morality drives them towards the only feasible solution - in their eyes - which ultimately destroys them both.

    Boy meets girl, but girl has husband. A complete lack of morality drives them towards the only feasible solution - in their eyes - which ultimately destroys them both.

    This is a very gripping book, which you probably have to read a few times to catch all the nuances and undertones. The protagonists are unlovable, the theme abhorrent and the writing electrifying. Wonderful combination, as far as I am concerned.
