couldn't force myself through the pages anymore...very boring and predictable.
I enjoyed this fantasy adventure very much. I liked how Althalus and his friends learn to work together as they battle Daeva and the forces of darkness. I also like the use of "doors" to get from place to place (and from time to time).
From the great writer who gave us the Belgarian and Mallorean, the Elenium and Tamuli, I was expecting so much. Redemption rocketed to the number one position of the worst Fantasy novel I had read, outstripping even Weiss and Hickman. I tried and tried to give it a chance, but in two years of irregular attempts I never got through more than a third of the book. Such a shame for such a cornerstone author as Eddings....Continua
